Security and This Shabbos at Heights Jewish Center

Good evening.
Your officers and the safety and security committee have been hard at work this week. We have attended several briefings and / or meetings with the Jewish Federation, The Orthodox Union, and others.
I want to stress that there are NO KNOWN THREATS currently in the Cleveland Jewish community. This being said, we are not letting our guard down. In conjunction with The Jewish Federation Security Group, and the University Heights Police Department, we have secured a guard and vehicle who will be on site on Saturday. The guard will be stationed outside the rear main entry. Be sure to greet him and thank him for his assistance in making our facility safe.
Over the next few weeks you will be seeing some physical improvements building to further secure access to the building. Please be patient while your leaders put into place the necessary provisions.
Please do your part in keeping our access areas clear in the event of the need for emergency access or exit. Do not park strollers, walkers, wheelchairs, etc. in exit corridors or blocking doorways.
As always, Your safety while in our Shul is of utmost importance to all of us.

Rob Altshuler,

President, HJCS
