Condolences to Betty Shnittlinger on the passing of her brother. Betty is in Israel and will be back at her home 4201 Eastway in South Euclid, for the last day of Shiva, from Wednesday till Thursday morning.

Mazel Tov to Mendel Weinstock, and Lou and Suzie Weinstock on the occasion of Mendel’s Bar-Mitzvah this Shabbos. Kiddush this Shabbos is sponsored by Lou and Suzie Weinstock in honor of Mendel’s Bar Mitzvah.

Shalosh Seudos this Shabbos is sponsored by Martin and Marla Lipman in memory of Marla’s father.

Rabbi Mordechai Willig, Rosh Yeshiva at Yeshiva University, will be speaking at an event this Sunday December 18 at 7:30 PM in support of Yeshiva Kerem B’Yavneh.  The topic of his talk is “Chanukah: Men Women and Children, a Mitzvah for all.”

This Tuesday night we light the first Chanukah candle.

The Shul’s Chanukah Luncheon is December 24. At the Luncheon our newly elected Board and officers will be installed. Please call the office to make your reservations.

With the end of Daylight Savings Time, a number of our Mincha-Maariv regulars are unable to join us at that time of day.  If you are available to join us for Mincha-Maariv, please do so, even if you usually daven elsewhere during the week.
